Regional Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Overview:

This esteemed practice affiliated with UF Health Shands at the University of Florida is situated in a collaborative environment, providing anesthesia services across a level 2 trauma center, a surgical facility, and a smaller hospital with no overnight call requirements.

We are actively seeking qualified and experienced CRNAs to join our multi-specialty team.

Our CRNAs are engaged in delivering supervised anesthesia for a diverse array of procedures, encompassing Neurosurgery, Interventional Stroke Care, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Colorectal, Ophthalmology, General Surgery (including Bariatric Surgery), Routine Outpatient Pediatrics (over two years), Gynecology, and low to moderate volume Obstetrics, supported by a Level 3 NICU.

Cardiac anesthesia is managed by a team of anesthesiologists with specialized training, complemented by CRNAs possessing robust clinical expertise.


CRNAs enjoy the flexibility of self-scheduling approximately 80% of their shifts, with weekend backup call responsibilities shared evenly among our W-2 CRNAs, resulting in around three weekend calls (Saturday and Sunday) annually.

Additional call coverage is arranged during peak trauma weeks. A sign-on bonus is available for those committing to a two-year tenure. This role offers an unparalleled benefits package that stands out in the anesthesia field.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program; Dual RN/ARNP license; certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.


Candidates currently pursuing a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program, holding a Dual RN/ARNP license, and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, will also be considered for employment.


Preferred Qualifications:
Dual RN/ARNP license in the state of Florida.
