We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including neurosurgery, interventional stroke care, orthopedics, vascular, urology, colorectal, ophthalmology, general surgery, and more.
- Work collaboratively with a team of anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests.
- Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Master's degree from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
- Dual RN/ARNP license in the state of Florida.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Dual RN/ARNP license in the state of Florida.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
