Host/Hostess Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team at Red Lobster. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm smile and welcoming demeanor
  • Manage seating charts and ensure efficient table turnover
  • Monitor waiting lists and communicate with guests in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting area, including menus and restrooms
  • Assist with phone calls and take-out orders as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
