You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and support our business goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the design and implementation of automation solutions that align with our modernization objectives.
  2. Analyze current systems and processes to identify automation opportunities and propose improvements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand modernization goals and translate them into technical requirements.
  4. Drive the automation of legacy systems, incorporating modern technologies and best practices.
  5. Ensure smooth integration of automation solutions with existing systems and platforms.
  6. Monitor and optimize the performance of automated processes, addressing issues and implementing improvements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong background in modernization and system integration.
  2. Proficiency in programming languages such as TSQL, VB, or C#.
  3. Experience with Industrial automation tools and Vendor platforms (e.g., Rockwell Automation, TwinCat 3, Siemens, B&R, Elau).
  4. Experience or Core certification within Ignition version 8 or greater. Gold certification is a plus.
  5. Knowledge of Layer 2 Networking, VM Management, Windows based PCs.
  6. Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial, Electrical or Chemical engineering or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
