Facilities Operations Supervisor

Are you skilled in facilities oversight and passionate about managing extensive operations? As a Facilities Operations Supervisor at Uline, you will play a crucial role in leading our facilities team to ensure the seamless operation of our expansive distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily functions of diverse teams, including maintenance, security, landscaping, and custodial staff.
  • Plan and allocate tasks in carpentry, electrical work, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and security services.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify repair needs and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with service providers and manage the delivery of contracted services.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and generate reports for management, including work orders and staffing audits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management or leadership experience in high-volume distribution environments.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), landscaping, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Willingness to travel for extended training at various locations.
