**Key Responsibilities**

  • Direct and supervise a team of Production Assistants/Drivers and beneficiaries to ensure the smooth operation of the transportation department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs in the transportation process.
  • Ensure that all donations are picked up and delivered to their destinations in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all ARC vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that all work is done in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Monitor Smartdrive reports to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Ensure that all safety measures are in place and maintained in accordance with ARC policy and government regulations.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
