Circuit Card/Harness Assembler Job Description

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Circuit Card/Harness Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing circuit cards and wire harnesses for our DoD customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble circuit cards and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform soldering, inspection, and testing operations under microscope and other magnifying devices
  • Install electrical components, such as connectors, switches, and relays, into control boxes
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of completed assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Use various hand and power tools, such as crimpers, soldering irons, and wire strippers
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled products to ensure proper functionality
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any assembly or design issues
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in electrical assembly, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic mathematics skills are required
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to electrical assembly
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
