About the Role:

The Helium Technical Manager will play a critical role in supporting the growth of Messer's helium business in the USA. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining standard procedures, designs, and support for the teams in the field. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering and cryogenics, with experience in industrial gas operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the transfill network in the USA
  • Develop and maintain standard designs for installations at new transfills and customer sites
  • Evaluate losses and implement best practices to reduce costly losses
  • Ensure safety in the transfill network and at Otis

Requirements:

  • Technical skills in engineering and cryogenics
  • Operational skills with experience in working in operations
  • Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate losses and implement best practices
  • Degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical or Chemical
  • Experience in the industrial gas industry is preferred
