Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia and monitoring of patient vital signs
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia functions, including reviewing patient medical history and conducting physical assessments
  • Perform post-anesthesia duties, including monitoring patient recovery and providing post-operative care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and guidance to anesthesiologist assistant students
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Anesthesia
  • Anesthesiologist Assistant license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA-C) certification issued by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
