Job Summary

A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist IV is a skilled professional responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services using CT and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and imaging results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current ARRT (CT) registration
  • 8 years of experience as a CT technologist
