Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team at Carteret Health Care. As an Echocardiography Technician, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and stress tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and stress tests with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac ultrasound and EKG testing and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiopulmonary Services Clinical Director to ensure seamless operation of the department.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and techniques in echocardiography and EKG testing.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • Professional experience as an Echocardiography Technician or related field.
  • Minimum of rotation in a program for cardiac ultrasound and knowledge of EKG testing and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and current trends in echocardiography.
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with variable work hours.
  • Exposure to infectious diseases, radiation, and moderate noise.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk extensively.
