Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and comfortable dialysis treatment, ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Building Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with patients, educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics and providing emotional support.
- Desire to Enter the Healthcare Field: A passion for caring for others and a willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum educational requirement.
- Comfortable Working with Blood and Needles: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood and needles.
