Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and professional Banquet Servers to join our team at North Pacific Management and provide exceptional customer service at various events and functions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review Banquet Event Orders to understand daily function schedules and ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare banquet rooms for assigned functions, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Consistently offer professional, engaging, and welcoming service throughout all aspects of events, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Set up, deliver, and maintain refreshment stations, ensuring a wide range of options for guests.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of food and beverage items, adhering to inventory management best practices.
  • Perform all opening and closing procedures, including side work and cleaning duties, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Set up and break down buffets and other special food service tables/equipment, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Ensure all doors and equipment are securely locked, everything is turned off and properly stowed, and keys are returned at the end of events.
  • Display knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service, providing expert recommendations to guests.
  • Report equipment in need of repair or unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel, prioritizing guest safety and satisfaction.

**Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months to one year of related experience in food service or hospitality, with a proven track record of excellent customer service.
  • Current food handler card and liquor service permit required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately manage cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
