Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Nurse I to join our Obstetrics team at Alameda Health System. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Assist with patient education and support, promoting health and wellness in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Licenses/Certification: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - issued by AHA -American Heart Association, may be required per facility or unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Required Licenses/Certifications: CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (Required for all positions in the Emergency Department – training to be provided by the Facility.)
Required Licenses/Certifications: PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification- AHA American Heart Association (Required for Emergency Department or if overseeing or providing pediatric care on a regular basis – to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
Required Licenses/Certifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
