Job Title: Host/Hostess

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at Red Lobster. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Use a seating chart to efficiently seat guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on current menu items and promotions, making recommendations to guests to enhance their experience.
  • Monitor the waiting list and manage the floor chart to ensure efficient table management.
  • Communicate effectively with guests who are waiting, keeping them informed of wait times and any updates.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the menus, waiting area, and restrooms.
  • Assist with answering phones and taking to-go orders as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to organize, plan ahead, and engage in conversation with guests.
  • Physical stamina to remain on feet for several hours at a time, lift up to 20 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, and sweep frequently.
