Job Description

Central Point Partners is seeking a highly skilled Network Automation Engineer to join their team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and documenting network scripts and libraries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network automation, with experience in developing code that assists with repeatable processes within the network and telecommunication environments. They will also be responsible for administering network-related applications and their underlying systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network automation scripts and libraries
  • Test and document network automation solutions
  • Administer network-related applications and systems
  • Maintain current knowledge of hardware, software, and network technology
  • Recommend modifications as required

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting end-to-end network technologies
  • Proficient in large-scale software development in one or more programming languages
  • Experience with infrastructure automation technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
  • Knowledge of and experience using Git for version control
  • Proficiency with API development and various Python libraries used for network automation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ServiceNow integrations
  • REST API software development and testing tools such as POSTMAN, curl, and Python Requests library
  • Proficiency with Cisco-based infrastructure and associated APIs
  • Proficiency with Palo Alto-based infrastructure and associated APIs
  • Proficiency with F5-based infrastructure and associated APIs
