At Glencoe Regional Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Oncology Nursing Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time position working 24 hours per 2-week pay period.

About the Role

This role involves caring for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administering chemotherapy, and implementing new methods of symptom treatment. You will assess patient needs, provide teaching and instructional materials, and ensure quality care in an efficient and safe manner.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Minnesota, and 2+ years of nursing experience with IV skills. Oncology nursing certification and Epic/Excellian EMR experience are also desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients
  • Administer chemotherapy and implement new methods of symptom treatment
  • Audit patient needs and provide teaching and instructional materials
  • Maintain high-quality care while ensuring efficiency and safety
Benefits
