The Housekeeping Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that Ecumen facilities are kept in a pristine, hygienic, and welcoming state. This position is essential for fostering a comfortable living atmosphere for residents and a well-organized, safe environment for staff.

About Ecumen:
Ecumen Worthington The Meadows is currently seeking a Housekeeping Assistant. The Meadows features 94 independent living and assisted living rental apartment homes, along with 14 additional residences dedicated to seniors requiring memory care services.

Opportunity Details:
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Totaling 64 scheduled hours every two weeks. This is a Full-Time position with no weekend shifts.

Compensation:
Starting pay is $15.87, with potential increases based on experience. Comprehensive Full-Time benefits are included.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute cleaning duties in alignment with community policies and departmental standards.
- Perform tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing, waxing, scouring, and sanitizing designated areas, including moving furniture and equipment as necessary.
- Ensure all assigned areas are maintained safely and report any maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor or leadership team member.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards.
- Maintain equipment and supply levels, reporting any needs to the supervisor.
- Assist residents with any applicable needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comply with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility, including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to Know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, and Fair Housing laws.

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping.
- Experience working with seniors.
