Position Overview:
The primary role of this position involves the construction, repair, installation, and removal of various machinery, equipment, and conduits, including both metal and PVC. This is conducted with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and sanitation while ensuring efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair all electrical equipment, with a background in instrumentation being advantageous.
- Must be qualified to handle 480 volt/3 phase electrical applications.
- Engage in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, with a willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency call-ins.

Main Accountabilities:
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings and layouts.
- Set up and operate the necessary equipment to execute all functions of the craft.
- Install, maintain, replace, relocate, or remove equipment, machinery, and piping as well as other production or maintenance devices.
- Install and maintain insulation on equipment, piping, ducts, and spouting.
- Conduct repairs and checks on machines and equipment to ensure correct operation.
- Perform all operations required for the construction, installation, and repair of designated equipment and devices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop environment.
- Execute necessary carpentry work and conveyor lining tasks.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work area, removing materials and equipment from the job site.

Technical Skills:
- Rebuild, repair, and replace damaged, defective, or worn components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems or components.
- Test electrical circuits, components, or systems for functionality.
- Install, program, and maintain:
- Instrumentation equipment
- Programmable Logic Controllers
- Sensors
- Analyze and interpret data as required.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Sound decision-making and teamwork abilities are critical.
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Commitment to providing a safe work environment through regular audits of working conditions.
- Familiarity with GMPs, SOPs, and FDA regulations is advantageous.
- Ability to follow written procedures and established testing methods.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- General knowledge of production processes and laboratory test methods is beneficial.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with good organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform data entry tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
