Job Overview

The Lead Cashier plays a crucial role in supporting management to foster a positive work atmosphere and build strong customer relations. This position involves assisting the manager in achieving sales targets, production goals, and maintaining budgetary constraints to ensure a successful operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the recruitment process by reviewing applications and conducting interviews as necessary.
  • Help in the scheduling of sales associates to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and banking of cash receipts in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork and sales reports to the Finance Department on a daily basis.
  • Act as a backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Manager when required.
  • Function as the third key holder, responsible for opening and closing the store as scheduled, including making bank deposits.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Administrator.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail sales.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory DMV record.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze basic income and expense reports.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
