Role Responsibilities
As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive top-notch, efficient care in a medical surgical setting. We are a collaborative team that values patient care and seeks a dedicated professional who shares our commitment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of Med/Surg patients.
- Educating patients and families on medication and treatment protocols.
- Maintaining and reviewing patient records, including documenting tests and examination results.
- Administering medications as per physician directives.
Qualifications Required:
- Must possess a valid Florida Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking skills, commitment to service excellence, and effective interpersonal communication abilities are essential.
