Job Summary

The Diesel Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional tire service and repair on commercial vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tire services and repairs on a variety of wheel types, including dismounting, balancing, patch/plug repairs, and TPMS service and repair.
  • Inspect tires to identify repair and maintenance requirements, and complete the repair in accordance with our standards of operation.
  • Perform basic routine vehicle services, including lubrications, oil changes, and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to all company and regulatory safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Receive, unload, and stock tires and related products.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of three months of technician or tire-related experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and produce quality work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues and write routine reports.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role operates in a Commercial Tire Center facility, with exposure to moderate noise levels, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust. The successful candidate must possess a current valid driver's license, and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). The ability to lift and stock merchandise and supplies up to 75 lbs. without assistance is also required.
