Job Overview

Agriland FS is seeking a highly skilled Technical Agronomist to provide technical support to our employees, local farmers, and landowners. This role will work closely with our agronomy and location teams to develop and implement effective agronomic practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on sound agronomic knowledge and skills, focusing on soil fertility, crop protection, and plant growth and development.
  • Research and Trials: Organize and execute research trials and collect data to inform agronomic decisions.
  • Agronomic Support: Provide professional diagnostic support to address in-field agronomy concerns.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with AGRILAND FS staff, farmers, and landowners to provide technical expertise and support.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate agronomic and conservation practice performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Agronomy or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of agronomic technical support experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
  • Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-directed, decision-making, and team-oriented.
