We are seeking a highly skilled software development engineer to join our team in building and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions for our global connectivity and infrastructure organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system-level tools, cloud architectures, and software development using modern programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.

This role involves designing and building full-stack solutions, collaborating with creative and technical teams, and delivering novel customer experiences by developing innovative solutions. You will also be responsible for integrating and optimizing existing ad products to take advantage of Amazon's scale and reach.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of professional software development experience, 1+ years of designing or architecting new systems, and 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering.

Additionally, you should have knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, experience programming with at least one modern language, and preferably experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.

Amazon offers a competitive salary range from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market, as well as equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
