Position Summary: We are seeking a temporary Digital Accessibility Coordinator to enhance awareness and deliver training on accessible digital resources and services. This role will focus on bridging the digital divide for individuals and organizations.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid with required in-office presence
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate statewide initiatives aimed at reducing disparities in digital access for individuals with disabilities.
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs of individuals seeking services in healthcare, employment, and education.
- Utilize collected data to coordinate training on Assistive Technology (AT) and accessibility standards.
- Provide expert consultation to governmental and community organizations to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to improve access to essential services and reduce social isolation.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on activities and data collection.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Assistive Technology, strong technical skills, and a background in training diverse groups are highly valued. Candidates should be prepared for some travel and must meet vehicle insurance requirements for reimbursement.
