Database Manager

Collegiate School seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Manager to join our Development office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our information systems, ensuring the integrity of our Raiser's Edge database, and providing exceptional support to our Alumni and Development Office.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of gift processing and ensure the accuracy of our Raiser's Edge database.
- Process gifts, prepare batches, and generate receipting and gift acknowledgement letters for the Development Office and the Head of School.
- Oversee memorial and honorary gifts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Manage data entry for constituent records in Raiser's Edge and Paw Net, including address and contact updates, deaths, marriages, births, business information, relationships, and returned mail.
- Create strategies to obtain accurate email and cell phone information.
- Manage entry of affinity coding, including student awards, college relationships, athletic and club affiliations, volunteer information, and Green and Gold student tracking on records.
- Support the Associate Director of Development with special projects, such as Blackbaud data health, prospect research needs, and benchmark reporting.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Business Office to balance accounts, resolve issues, assist with audits, and complete annual surveys.
- In coordination with the Associate Director of Development, enter new students and families into Paw Net and Raiser's Edge in late spring and flip the database in the summer.
- Assist team members with pulling information for event invitation and mailing lists, class lists for reunions, legacy lists, and other office needs.
- Prepare and maintain donor profiles for the Chief Development Officer and Head of School.
- Assist the Associate Director of Development with prospect research and screening.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track and analyze departmental initiatives, such as annual giving, planned gifts, reunion giving, matching gift challenges, events, networking, campaign volunteers, prospect management, and more.
- Prepare and submit annual reporting for benchmarking purposes, such as Index and DASL.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 years fundraising or office experience with a focus on data

- Passion for independent school education

- Strong technology skills, including Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or other Relationship Management System (RMS)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate the School's shared purpose
- Proven cross-cultural competency skills demonstrating self-awareness, awareness of others, and the ability to adopt inclusive perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors
