We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Imaging Department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-ray films, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Prepare and position patients and equipment safely, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members, providing exceptional patient care and service.
- 2-year or Associate Degree from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT Certification and Florida license to practice medical imaging.
- 1 year of hospital-based experience preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including frequent standing, bending, and lifting of patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
