About the RoleAs an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to patients. You will work under the direction of a radiologist, ensuring that all procedures are performed with the highest level of care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality MR images, ensuring optimal films are submitted for interpretation
- Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues
- Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- 1-3 years of experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
