Claims Specialist

We're looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you'll be responsible for investigating property claims, interpreting policies, and determining coverage. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing multiple tools to resolve claims efficiently. Your sharp critical thinking skills and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate property claims, conducting detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage
• Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers to resolve claims
• Utilize multiple tools to resolve claims efficiently, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution of claims

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of previous experience as an outside adjuster
• Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $25,000 in losses
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating
• Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
