Counselor - RES

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our team at Meridian Behavioral Health. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing chemical health education and therapeutic interventions to assist clients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and communicate with organizational and community personnel to ensure accurate client care and efficient revenue collection.
• Provide chemical health education and therapeutic interventions to assist clients in maintaining county or 3rd party payer mechanisms.
• Obtain authorization for funding and maintain professional licensure.
• Attend all staff in-services and meetings.

Requirements:

• Current Minnesota State Licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor or an ADC-T license.
