Job Overview

ePATHUSA Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Java Cloud Architect to lead the development of Java and Enterprise Cloud Architecture for the Unemployment Insurance system.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $140,000 - $180,000, based on industry standards and location in St. Paul, MN.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and deploy Java-based web applications using JSPs and Bootstrap, ensuring a robust front-end user interface.
  2. Lead the development team and collaborate with senior technical and business team members to drive project progress and resource management.
  3. Develop server-side code in Java, J2EE, and Spring, adhering to best practices and ensuring scalability.
  4. Design and implement Microservices, RESTful APIs, and Containers, enhancing the overall system architecture.
  5. Demonstrate expertise in Unemployment Insurance history, laws, extensions, programs, changes, and expectations to build solutions with strong historical knowledge.
Requirements

We require a Lead Developer with:

  • Two or more years of experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and documenting front-end user interface code for Java-based web applications using JSPs and Bootstrap.
  • Three or more years of experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and documenting server-side code in Java, J2EE, and Spring.
  • Two or more years of experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and documenting code for Microservices, RESTful APIs, and Containers.
  • Five years of experience as a developer in Unemployment Insurance programs or other regulated and audited government sectors making tax calculations and direct-to-user payments through a workflow business model.
  • Two or more years of experience as a lead working with other developers and communicating with senior technical and business team members about business requirements, resource management, and project progress.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Java and Enterprise Cloud Architecture certifications.
