Job Summary

The Patient Meal Coordinator is responsible for securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Follower of proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Offers alternatives to menu options as allowed on prescribed diets, taking into account food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
  • Responsive to patient needs at all times, resolving concerns or complaints immediately and/or reporting necessary assistance to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience is essential for this role.
  • Schedule: Part-time schedule, days and hours may vary; rotating holidays. Weekend availability is required.
  • $20.00 per hour.
