Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC on a PRN basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric clinical pharmacy and be available to work more than the minimum of four shifts per month, with weekday and weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities- Provides pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of a more senior clinical pharmacist/manager.
- Evaluates and interprets physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice as well as state and district and Federal laws.
- Doctoral degree PharmD or an equivalent Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy required.
- 1-2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required. PGY-1 preferred.
- RPH - Registered Pharmacist Licensure in Washington, DC required. Board certification preferred.
- Problem-solving skills to find solutions to difficult human, technical, clinical or administrative problems.
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $100,588 - $180,419.
