Nurse Practitioner

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Department of Anesthesiology. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of acute and chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized pain management plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families on pain management and self-care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
