Position Summary:

The Rehabilitation Therapist specializing in Acute Care Rehabilitation:

  • Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and implements therapy for patients referred to rehabilitation services.
  • Documents patient progress and provides education to patients, families, healthcare staff, and students.
  • Contributes to the advancement of the profession, the facility, and personal growth by delivering high-quality care, engaging in clinical research, and participating in educational initiatives.
  • Ensures that all patients achieve their maximum potential through quality care and collaboration with medical management, while also fostering personal professional development.
Educational Requirements:
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure and Certification:
  • Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
  • AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required.
Experience:
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Required: Experience in Neurology; Orthopedic experience is preferred.
  • Successful completion of clinical internships as mandated by the academic program.
