Physical Therapist - Outpatient Services
Per Diem Coverage as Needed
NovaCare Rehabilitation is actively seeking skilled physical therapists for our outpatient orthopedic facilities. We are looking for professionals who can provide care across various locations. Our centers cater to a wide range of patients, from adolescents to seniors, and offer specialized services including sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, dry needling, vestibular therapy, and neuro rehabilitation.
We require adaptable physical therapists who can provide coverage during flexible hours, typically from early morning until evening, Monday through Friday. Please note that we are not considering new graduates for this role. Our facilities are dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care, and we are eager to welcome experienced licensed physical therapists to our esteemed team.
While we cannot provide medical benefits for those working fewer than 32 hours, we can discuss opportunities for participation in local continuing education courses once employed.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to state practice regulations and understand the legal framework governing physical therapy practice.
- Complete all required training and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assess, treat, and manage treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy, ensuring clear documentation of medical necessity.
- Foster open and respectful communication with colleagues, healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
- Participate in facility meetings as directed by management.
Essential Credentials:
- Completion of educational requirements for state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Physical Therapy.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the practice state.
- Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is mandatory.
