- Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control
- Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies
- Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys
- Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
- State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI)
