About the Role

TMC is seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team of rehabilitation professionals. As a key member of our therapy team, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and care of patients with various physical, mental, or emotional conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute therapeutic plans designed to help patients recover and improve their skills for daily living and working, under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
  • Contribute to the planning and selection of therapeutic activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of each patient.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, observing changes in performance and behavior, and adjusting therapy interventions accordingly.
  • Provide education to patients and their families about the therapy process, adaptive equipment, and home modifications to ensure continued therapeutic practices at home.
Requirements
  • Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
