Structural Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Engineer to join our team at Larson Design Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead design activities, project submissions, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control duties.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000, depending on experience.

• Design Leadership: Coordinate overall design activities, project submission schedules, and ensure final products meet technical requirements and goals.
• Technical Expertise: Prepare and review design computations, plan designs, drawings, specifications, and written reports.
• Project Management: Review submittals, coordinate project submissions, and complete inspections as needed.
• Regulatory Compliance: Research, review, and interpret written regulations, code compliance, and permit requirements.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant Engineering field from ABET-accredited school.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years job-related experience, preferably with PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge design experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) required.

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microstation, Open Roads, InRoads, and other related software programs.
• Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with strong organizational and time management skills.
