Role Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Member Service Representative is to assist members and prospective members with their Credit Union inquiries. This includes explaining available services, establishing new accounts, addressing issues, and directing members to the appropriate resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a teller or customer service role, including cash handling and sales.
- Proficiency in working efficiently and accurately with numerical data.
- Ability to solve arithmetic and mathematical reasoning challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately input data at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Experience in a Windows-based PC environment is preferred.
