Position Overview: We are currently seeking full-time Natural Gas Pipeline Construction Inspectors to join our expanding Pipeline group. This role offers a unique opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in Contract Administration and Construction Inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of natural gas distribution pipelines and facilities, ensuring compliance with client specifications and safety regulations.
  • Complete daily inspection reports and document findings electronically using company-provided devices.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, local, and company compliance standards.
  • Perform field observations and verify adherence to safety protocols during construction activities.
  • Travel to various job sites, with the potential for up to 60% travel time.
  • Work flexible hours, typically ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Background in construction or construction inspection.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of CFR49/192/195 regulations and/or certification as a Welding Inspector (AWS CWI or CPWI+V).
  • Technical degree in civil engineering construction or related field.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and utility mapping.
