Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading hospitality company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and visually inspecting tools and machinery.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
  • Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved communication protocols.
  • Display knowledge and skills in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, as well as external sprinkler systems.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, and report any maintenance problems or safety hazards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
