Job Summary:
Physician Empire is seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in a university town on the lake in Southern Louisiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting with a block schedule and a focus on patient care.
About the Role:
- Employed by a reputable hospital with 230 licensed acute care beds
- Block Schedule, 7 days on and 7 days off; 7P-7A
- Rotation Sun-Mon
- No procedures required
- No vent management
- Open ICU with well-established pulmonary critical care on staff
- Census per day split evenly among Hospitalists
- Patient population - no pediatrics
- Access to 21 specialties onsite
- Emergency department runs codes
Compensation and Benefits:
- IG base salary, opportunity for bonus based on wRVUs & quality incentives
- Income potential between $315k
- Medical, Dental, 403(b) plan and deferred compensation plan are offered
