We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Medical Companion Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our seniors. As a trusted companion, you will engage in conversations, play games, and assist with light housekeeping duties to create a comfortable and serene environment.
Responsibilities:- Companionship: Provide friendly and attentive support to our seniors, engaging in conversations and activities that promote their well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with dusting, sweeping, and tidying up to maintain a clean and organized living space.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare delicious and nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our seniors.
- Transportation: Safely chauffeur our seniors to appointments, social outings, or shopping trips.
- Medication Reminders: Support our seniors in managing their medication schedules, ensuring they take the right medications at the right times.
- Engagement: Plan and facilitate engaging activities that stimulate the mind and body of our seniors.
- Support for Walking and Personal Hygiene: Offer assistance and ensure a safe environment when our seniors require support for walking, transfers, or personal hygiene.
- A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to seniors.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to your role as a trusted caregiver.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
- Respect for seniors' privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal or Professional Experience
- Ability to work at least 15 hours per week on a consistent schedule
- Ability to push, lift, and pull up to 25 pounds
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable, insured vehicle
- Willing to undergo a background and driving record check
