Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team at SMS Holdings. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Activities: Manage and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of our premises are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Manage Supplies and Inventory: Oversee the ordering and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our facilities.
  • Develop and Implement Cleaning Schedules: Create and implement cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of our premises are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.
  • Conduct Quality Control Inspections: Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that our cleaning services meet the highest standards.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a cleaning or facilities management environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.
  • Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
