Job Summary

The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house and kitchen staff at VPC Pizza Operating Corp. This role requires a strong leader who can train, manage, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train front of house and kitchen staff to ensure excellent service and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain effective operational tools and systems to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment that meets company standards.
  • Participate in weekly scheduling and ordering of products to ensure optimal inventory levels and labor costs.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and control food, beverage, and labor costs to maintain budgeted financial goals.
  • Develop and implement marketing efforts to maximize sales potential and drive business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Previous restaurant management experience with a minimum of one year's supervisory experience.
  • Ability to understand and implement cost controls and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to use a computer and POS system.
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
  • Sanitation Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in restaurant management.
  • Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
  • Previous experience as a bartender or server.
  • Previous experience with POS system, preferably Squirrel.
Physical Demands

The Restaurant Operations Manager must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, including reaching, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping. The ability to stand, walk, and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions is required. Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to grasp, load, and carry trays is also necessary. Repetitive hand motion for extended periods of time is a requirement of this role.
