We are committed to expanding our services and enhancing the quality of care we provide to our patients, which includes a wide range of veterinary services such as Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, In-House Diagnostics, and more.
The Multi-Site Veterinarian Leader will be responsible for overseeing the medical and nursing operations across our various hospital locations. This role requires frequent travel to our facilities, ensuring that each site maintains high standards of veterinary care tailored to their unique environments.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Regional Operations Manager to set benchmarks for quality care and will provide mentorship to newer veterinarians. This mentorship will encompass various aspects of veterinary practice, including surgical procedures, case reviews, diagnostics, and other essential areas of veterinary medicine.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee medical operations across multiple veterinary locations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new veterinarians in various clinical practices.
- Collaborate with management to enhance operational efficiency and quality of care.
- Ensure compliance with all veterinary regulations and standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.
- Valid Veterinary License for the State of California or in the process of obtaining.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Highly organized with effective time management abilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful completion of background checks as required.
- Willingness to relocate to California if not currently residing there.
- Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
This position may require extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to fulfill essential duties. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that involves interaction with various animal species and potential exposure to veterinary hazards.
