The Asset Management Supervisor at Rexford Industrial is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of the industrial property portfolio. This role entails formulating strategies aimed at enhancing asset value, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering collaboration across various departments.

This position presents a unique opportunity to engage with the industrial real estate market, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions. Reporting directly to the Director of Asset Management, this role involves travel commitments of approximately 25%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic asset plans in collaboration with Leasing, Property Management, Development, and Investment teams.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance property performance and execute growth initiatives.
  • Engage in property-level enhancements and conduct thorough financial analyses.
  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities and monitor ongoing financial performance.
  • Work closely with leasing teams to devise tenant retention strategies.
  • Assess risks, stay updated on industry trends, and prepare comprehensive operating budgets.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and key indicators for asset management.
  • Analyze capital expenditure proposals and provide updates on property performance.
  • Guide and mentor analysts to foster team development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in institutional industrial real estate asset management.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and a strong understanding of the real estate market.
  • Experience with property management systems and financial software is preferred.
  • Management experience is an advantage.
