Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Telecare Corporation. As a key member of our mental health rehabilitation center, you will provide safe and effective medical treatment to our clients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments to clients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
- Provide direct care to clients, including monitoring their condition and responding to changes
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement client treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning meetings
- Document client responses to treatment and notify the team of any clinical changes
- One year of experience in psychiatric nursing in a skilled nursing facility or an acute hospital
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician program, and current licensure by the State of California
- Valid CPR Certificate
- Demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, knowledge of psychotropic medications, and knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the delivery of mental health services in the State of California
