Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing echocardiography studies, and providing preliminary interpretations of results.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform echocardiography studies using various modalities, including 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of patient echo studies.
  • Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, and other physicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest echocardiography platforms and technology.
  • Read, interpret, and apply physicians' orders, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations.
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.
